Many colleges recalc every student's grade point average.

The NCAA 🏈 does regardless if a transcript comes from a public, private or home school.

Emory University even has an official formula, i.e., the Latting Index, which revises GPAs and folds them into an 8-point scale. Their index ignores the freshman year and disregards grades for PE, Driver's Ed, and other noncore classes.

It's certainly essential to provide an accurate and error-free GPA on your student's transcript, but know that the numbers you provide may change according to the institution's admittance rubric.
